E.B. 'Buddy' Rogers, Allen 'Boonie' Couvillion and Bill King recently got together for an afternoon of 'tall tales' of their athletic exploits at Bolton High School in the early '50s.

Rogers played baseball at Bolton and at LSU, where he graduated in Petroleum Engineering. Rogers is now retired and lives in Kingwood, Texas.

King, a three year letterman in football, graduated from Louisiana College and is a retired banker living in Houston. King also was a high school and college football official in Louisiana and Texas for over 30 years. He is a former US Marine Sergeant.

Couvillion, a stand-out defensive/offensive guard at Bolton joined the Army Airborne following graduation and was later injured during a jump exercise at Fort Polk. Now retired, he now lives in Merritt Island, Florida.
